The roads in Carinthia offer the ideal conditions so that you can enjoy the rush of speed on your road bike. The most popular route for road cycling in Carinthia is on Nockalmstraße.
Tour 1 – Nockalm tour – the racing bike tour along the Nockalmstrasse in Carinthia

This tour starts and ends at the famous well-being resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim. The Nockalm tour totals 106 km and follows an asphalt trail through the magnificent Nockberge mountain region to an altitude of 2,440 m. One of the most beautiful sections of the tour is the 34 km long Nockalmstrasse. This road winds its way through the picturesque Nockberge National Park at a gradient of approx. 8-10%.
Tour 2 – 2 lakes tour

This tour starts and ends at the famous well-being resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim. The 2 lakes tour covers 65 km and 946 m altitude and is the ‘easier’ version of the Carinthia cycle marathon in Bad Kleinkirchheim. For more information, please see www.kaernten-radmarathon.at
Tour 3- Road tour around the Wöllaner Nock

Altitude: ca. 1059 hm
Distance of route: 62,3 km
Ride time: app. 5-6 Stunden
Tour difficulty: difficult level
Cycle towards Afritz/Verditz (km 7.79) and turn left at the crossroads at 10.46 km. The route then passes Arriach (13.30 km), the Klösterle Bahn cableway (18.25 km) and the Bachkeusche (23.23 km). Turn left at the crossing in Oberboden (29.73 km) and follow the highway (Bundesstrasse B95) to Gnesau (36.3 km).
From here, it’s on past Zedlitzdorf and St. Margarethen to the crossing at 45.87 km where you should turn left towards Bad Kleinkirchheim. The route then passes the Bad Kleinkirchheim tourist information (52.67 km) and Radenthein (59.19 km). At the roundabout at 59.75 km, take the turn-off for Villach.
Then from Feld am See, the route leads back to the start in the village square (63.45 km).
