Dog-sled tour during your winter holiday in Austria
On safari through Carinthia’s winter wonderland

A safari without lions and tigers. A husky sled ride outside of Alaska. An extraordinary experience during your winter holiday: the snow safari through the Carinthian Nockberge Mountains in Austria.
Go on a snow tour through Carinthia
The first step is to take the cable car up to approximately 1,800 metres above sea level. You then walk across the wide white landscape on snowshoes to a rustic hut. Whilst enjoying Carinthian specialities in the warm restaurant you may already be able to hear the howling of the sled dogs. The huskies are known for their quiet feet and loud howls. Divided into teams, and led by professional dog-sled mushers, your journey begins. The strength of the dogs brings the team up to travelling speed in no time at all. The wind begins to blow against your face. You start to zip past the beautiful winter landscape. Dog-sled tour in Austria – an unforgettable experience!
