The Alpe Adria Trans-Alp – the cycling tour for border crossers
In groups divided into varying skill levels, professional guides will lead you on attractive bike trails toward the south. These tours can only be offered as guided tours, as they go through protected areas such as the Nockberge National Park and the River Tagliamento channel, however tours are available upon enquiry at any time. Upon request, a partial guided tour can be organised so that you take part in only certain stages of the tour.

Tour Stages on the Alpe Adria Trans-Alp through Bad Kleinkirchheim
- Day 1: Mariapfarr/St.Michael (Lungau region) – Bad Kleinkirchheim (68 kilometres, max. 2,500 metres altitude) through the Nockberge National Park (Overnight stay in a rustic mountain hut).
- Day 2: Bad Kleinkirchheim – Döbriach/Lake Millstätter (48 kilometres, 1,700 metres altitude) incl. lake experience and gondola lift service. (Overnight stay on a farm).
- Day 3: Lake Millstätter – Nature Arena Carinthia/Lake Weißensee (68 kilometres, 1,300 metres altitude). (Overnight stay in a mountain bike hotel)
- Day 4: Nature Arena Carinthia/Lake Weißensee – Straniger Alm alpine pasture (58 kilometres, 1,700 metres altitude). (Overnight stay in a mountain hut)
Optional extension of the tour to the Adriatic Sea (Day 5-6):
- Day 5: Straniger Alm alpine pasture – San Daniele (91 kilometres, 255 metres altitude) with wine and prosciutto tasting. (Overnight stay at a mountain bike hotel)
- Day 6: San Daniele – Adriatic (97 kilometres, 50 metres altitude), return shuttle transfer.
- Tour organisation, shuttle service, luggage transport
- 4-6 full day tours with guide in varying skill level groups
- 2 nights/half-board in a rustic mountain hut (or on a farm)
- 1 night/ half-board in a four-star hotel.
- Optional extension of the tour over San Daniele to the Adriatic Sea is available!
